Our inn is a convenient location from which to visit the great vineyards and wineries of western Sonoma County. Visiting Sonoma Counties' Russian River, Green Valley, and its many sub-appellations is easy. For those on a tour of California Highway 1, Bodega Bay is a good stop on your way to Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Bodega Bay is popular with bird watchers. There are boat charters to the Cordell banks and many wetlands ideal for birdwatching. The very adventurous ride bikes on our narrow, hilly, rural back roads and kayak local spots such as the Estero Americano, Salmon Creek, and Tomales Bay. People also come for whale watching during the spring and fall whale migrations. Many love hiking the trails of the 17 mile long Sonoma Coast State Beaches.
