We are located just off the eastern corner of the historic Sonoma Plaza in downtown Sonoma. Chanticleer Books is a general shop specializing in rare and collectable books in many fields, including California History, Western Americana, Jack London, Art & Design, Travel & Exploration, Food & Wine, et al. Chanticleer Books is owned and operated by Steve Blackmer, a full-time bookseller since 1985 and member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA) since 1998.
